Oval dining with organic chairs
The Algarve/Vienna garden set gives six people a generous place at an oval 230x120 cm table. The Algarve garden table rests on a single central column that tapers towards the base, so everyone can pull up a chair freely. The Vienna chairs echo this with their round tubular frames and a backrest woven from RuCore. The result is a set in which table and chairs share the same soft design language.
What sets it apart
RuCore is rope with a rubber core and a soft outer layer. Water cannot soak into that core, so the backrest dries quickly after a shower. The armrests of the Vienna chair are also finished with rope, giving your arms comfortable support, while the seat is made of textilene. The chairs are stackable, which is handy when you want to store them compactly out of season. The ceramic tabletop is scratch-resistant, colourfast and stain-resistant, and the weighted column keeps the table stable. The set comes in various colours and was created by our own designers.
Durable and easy to care for
The aluminium frame is rustproof and lightweight. Rinse off loose dirt with a garden hose and clean the RuCore with the Cleaner for textiles and RuCore. Twice a year, refresh the protective layer with the Protector for textiles and RuCore, so stains do not soak into the rope and mould has no chance. For the ceramic top, a damp cloth with the right care product, such as the Cleaner for ceramic, sintered stone and stonex, is often all you need. Only cover the chairs once they are completely dry.
Styling around the oval table
The long, oval shape makes this set a good fit for a terrace where you want to use the space lengthways. Choose seat cushions in a shade that returns in your outdoor cushions or throws, and hang a light above the centre of the table. If you would like more back support, add the universal back cushion.
