Craftsmanship in table and chair
The Fitz Roy chair is woven from twisted loom, a flat synthetic strand that is twisted into a round cord. This makes the weave flexible, so the chair is comfortable even without a cushion; add a seat cushion for extra softness. The tabletop is ceramic: a thin ceramic layer bonded to a sheet of safety glass, strong yet slightly flexible, so it is less likely to crack. Ceramic is scratch-resistant, colourfast and stain-resistant, so a cup of coffee or a glass of wine leaves no trace. The weighted column keeps the table stable, and the 5 kg weight bags supplied make it even steadier. The set is available in various colours and tabletops.

Straightforward care
The aluminium frame is rustproof and lightweight, so the chairs are easy to move. Rinse off loose dirt and leaves with a garden hose first, and avoid pressure washers, as they can damage the coating. For the frame and the twisted loom, a damp cloth with the right care product is often all you need, such as the Cleaner for aluminium, textilene, polywood and wicker. Clean the ceramic top with the Cleaner for ceramic, sintered stone and stonex, and treat it twice a year with the matching Protector. Water and dirt then simply bead off the surface.
