Wicker maintenance

The LIFE assortment also features the classical synthetic Wicker, woven by hand around the Aluminium frame. The Wicker that LIFE uses is produced in a single go which gives it a high colour fastness.

Wicker is made of:

- Plastic PE granules,
- UV filters (against discolouration)
- Plasticizers (to make the thread flexible).

The Wicker, made in an embossed pattern, gives the garden furniture a sophisticated and timeless look. As a result the set will fit perfectly in both a classic and modern garden. You can leave Wicker garden furniture outside all year round.

Since the weaving is done by hand, nuances in colour, thickness and pattern can occur. This only strengthens the “naturel” look of the garden furniture.

Cleaning wicker furniture is easy. If there is a stain on the material, it can be removed by using the “Life Outdoor Living Textile and Wicker Cleaner”. This also provides protection so we recommend doing this at least twice a year, preferably in the spring and autumn.
