The Valencia garden chair pairs a slender frame with open-woven rope. That open weave is the signature detail of this chair: it gives it a distinctive, airy character and keeps the design light, even with several chairs around the table. Comfort you notice at every meal
The weave is made from beige RuCore, a rope with a rubber core. That core is waterproof yet flexible, so the rope dries remarkably fast after a shower and you can sit down again sooner. Strong polyester fibres around the core give a relatively thin strand plenty of strength. The chair comes in two fixed combinations of frame and cushion fabric, each with its own mood. Our own delivery and assembly service puts it in place, completely hassle-free.

Care made simple
RuCore needs little time, but a little attention. Remove loose dirt regularly with a soft cloth; a damp cloth with the right care product is often all it takes. Spray the rope twice a year with our Textilene & wicker cleaner to keep the dirt-repellent coating intact and prevent mould. We also offer a matching care product for each frame material. Always make sure the chair is completely dry before you put a protective cover over it.
