Clever engineering you barely notice
The signature detail of the Milano chair is its gas spring mechanism, operated from the front leg: one simple movement and the backrest glides smoothly into the position you want. The seat and back feature a textilene sling that gives slightly and lets rainwater drain straight through. The chair is made entirely of aluminium, just like the table base, so rust does not stand a chance. The 180x100cm tabletop gives you plenty of room for a long lunch. Care in a few simple steps
Clean the aluminium a few times a year with Aluminium cleaner & protector: rinse off loose dirt with a garden hose, then wipe it on with a cloth. The textilene has a dirt-repellent coating that keeps mould at bay; refresh it twice a year with Textileen & wicker cleaner. Every version of the tabletop is scratch-resistant and colourfast, and Ceramic cleaner & protector keeps it water- and dirt-repellent. Avoid stiff brushes and pressure washers to keep the frame coating looking good.
