Ceramic and rope, a strong pairing
The tabletop is made of ceramic: a thin ceramic layer bonded to a sheet of safety glass. This construction gives the top extra strength and allows it to flex slightly without cracking. Ceramic is scratch-resistant and colourfast, and a hot cup of coffee or bright sunlight leaves no mark. The rope on the Barcelona chair has a waterproof rubber core, so it dries quickly after a shower. The All-weather Soltex cushions are soft, water-permeable and withstand prolonged rain. The set is available in various colours.

Easy to look after
Ceramic does not stain easily, so usually you simply rinse off loose dirt and wipe the top with soapy water. Then apply a water and dirt-repellent layer with the Ceramic cleaner & protector. Clean the rope with a soft sponge and the Textileen & wicker cleaner. The aluminium frame is rustproof, and a damp cloth with the right care product is often all it needs. This quality is built to last for years.
