A compact backless bench
The Split bench, 126cm, is the compact version in the Split series and seats two people. The design is reduced to the essentials: a slender aluminium frame with a flat seat and nothing to distract. Because the bench has no backrest, you can easily step on and off from either side. It fits at a smaller garden table, but also in a narrow corner of your outdoor space.

Light, strong and all aluminium
Both the frame and the seat are aluminium, a material that is lightweight, rustproof and fully recyclable. So you can lift the bench effortlessly to another spot, for example from the dining table to the front door. For a softer seat, add two separate seat cushions that fit the seat exactly. The bench is available in a choice of colours.

Care for a fresh coating
Hose away leaves and loose dirt and avoid pressure washers or stiff brushes, as these can scratch the coating. After that, a damp cloth with the right care product is often all you need. With the protector for aluminium, textilene, polywood and wicker, you apply a water and dirt-repellent layer, so rain and dust have less grip on the frame. Do this a few times a year and the bench will look good for years.

How to use it
Place the bench along the long side of a garden table and choose dining chairs opposite for a relaxed, informal dining area. On its own, it serves as a seat by the back door or against the house wall. Combine it with the Split stool from the same series for a coherent look.
