Palermo Parasol Base Ballast

Extra weight where it matters
The larger the canopy of a cantilever parasol, the more counterweight the base needs. The weight slabs for the Palermo parasol base therefore add 60 kg to the 90 kg base. The set consists of two separate granite stones that sit on the base around the pole. That keeps even a parasol with a large canopy firmly in place, even when the canopy is tilted sideways.

When you need them
The weight slabs are required for the Jamaica 350x350cm cantilever parasol and the Palermo 350x300cm. Together with the base, that brings the total to 150 kg. Because they are two separate stones, you lift them separately from the base, which makes placing and moving everything much easier. Please note: when you combine the base with weight slabs, the surround for the Palermo parasol base is not tall enough to cover it all.

Care
Granite is a natural stone that is unaffected by frost, rain and sun. Wipe the slabs clean now and then and hose away sand and leaves. Lift the slabs off the base before rolling the parasol over a longer distance, so the wheels are not put under unnecessary strain.

Part of a complete system
Base, weight slabs and surround are designed to work together, so you can put together the right foundation for every parasol. At Life Outdoor Living, colours and materials are coordinated across every collection. That means you can mix and match endlessly and build, step by step, one harmonious outdoor space.
