Ambient light at floor level
The tallest solar lantern in the Orion range stands on the ground, next to your lounge set or along the patio. Its round, cylindrical shape is wrapped in an open weave of RuCore+ rope. Once the lamp is on, light falls through the gaps and draws a soft pattern on its surroundings. During the day, its rounded lines and woven rope make it an attractive feature in your outdoor space, even when it is switched off.

Light, portable and rechargeable
The frame is made of aluminium, and combined with rope, the lantern stays surprisingly light, so it is easy to move around. Inside is a black rechargeable LED unit. Using the USB cable, the battery is full in around 2 to 3 hours, after which the lamp glows for about 6 hours. The solar panel supports charging and powers the dusk sensor, so the lamp switches on by itself when it gets dark. Because the solar panel needs several sunny days to fill the battery, we recommend using the charging cable for regular use. Orion is available in a choice of colours.

Caring for rope and frame
RuCore+ has a rubber core that does not absorb moisture, so the rope dries quickly after a shower. Remove leaves and dust with a soft cloth; a damp cloth with the right care product is often all you need. Treat the rope twice a year with our Textile & RuCore protector so dirt has less chance to settle. For the aluminium, use our aluminium cleaner and avoid harsh products.

Playing with height
