Features of All-Weather Cushions

Our All-weather cushions are designed to withstand every season. Thanks to their 100% weatherproof fabric and water-permeable filling, they can stay outside all year round – no need to bring them in when the weather changes.

They’re covered in soft-touch textilene: a comfortable, woven polyester fabric with microscopic openings that allow rainwater to flow straight through. The cushion’s inner filling has an open-cell structure, so water also drains out quickly.

Another bonus: this open structure allows air to circulate, meaning the cushions feel less clammy than many other synthetic materials. No sticky feeling – even on warm days.

On top of that, the cushions are durable, dirt-repellent and resistant to mould – making them ideal for intensive outdoor use.

Benefits of All-Weather Outdoor Cushions

  • 100% weatherproof – suitable for year-round use

  • No storage space needed

  • Resistant to fading, mould and dirt

  • Water-permeable

  • Easy to clean – ideal for families with young children and/or pets

  • Breathable and quick-drying

Drying time may vary depending on factors such as the thickness of the cushion, the weather, and its position in your outdoor space.

The outer cover of our All-weather cushions is made from soft-touch textilene – a comfortable fabric with tiny openings that let water pass through. This water flows into the polyester filling and, thanks to the open-cell structure, drains straight back out. As a result, the cushions dry more quickly, so you can get back to enjoying the sunshine not long after a rain shower.

Tip: Has your cushion gotten wet? Gently press it and stand it on its side. This helps the water drain out and speeds up the drying process!

How to Care for Your All-Weather Outdoor Cushions

For the best protection, we recommend treating your All-weather cushions at least twice a year. Ideally, do this in spring and autumn – to prepare them for a new season and to protect them from harsher weather conditions later in the year.

Time needed: approximately 30 minutes
What you’ll need:

Step 1: Clean Your All-Weather Cushions

Keep your outdoor cushions in top condition by cleaning them regularly. Remove dust, leaves and mud with a soft cloth. Dab liquid stains immediately with a dry, clean cloth to prevent them from soaking in.

Tip: Is your garden set under a tree? Check regularly for bird droppings and remove them straight away to avoid stains.

Step 2: Treat with Aluminium, Textilene, Polywood & Wicker Cleaner

All-weather cushions have a dirt-repellent coating that helps protect against stains and mould. For optimal protection, spray the material with Aluminium, Textilene, Polywood & Wicker Cleaner twice a year.

Spray the cleaner evenly onto the cushion and let it soak in for 30 seconds. Then use a damp sponge or soft scrubbing sponge to clean the surface with circular motions. Treat stubborn stains until they’re gone.

Step 3: Rinse and Let Dry

After treatment, rinse thoroughly with water and allow the cushions to air dry.

Washing advice: The covers can also be machine washed at 30°C (one at a time). After washing, they’re easy to slide back over the inner cushion.

Important: Make sure your cushions are completely dry before storing them or covering them with a protective cover – this helps prevent mould.
