The fabric is also low-maintenance, dirt-repellent, colourfast and highly durable – keeping your cushions looking beautiful for longer. The soft filling adds extra comfort without compromising on support.

Tip: Has your cushion got wet? Gently press it and place it on its side. This allows the water to drain out and helps it dry much faster!

Our soft All-weather Bouclé cushions are slightly water-permeable, making them suitable for outdoor use. Like all our cushions, they need some time to dry after a rain shower.

Treat the cushions as soon as you receive them with our Protector for textile & RuCore to make them water- and dirt-repellent.

How do you care for your All-weather Bouclé outdoor cushions?

Treat your All-weather Bouclé cushions at least twice a year – ideally in spring and autumn. This keeps them protected from the elements and ready for every season.

Time needed: approx. 30 minutes
What you’ll need:

  • Cleaner for textile & RuCore

  • Protector for textile & RuCore

  • Dry soft brush

  • Sponge or soft scouring pad

  • Water

Step 1: Clean your All-weather Bouclé cushions and covers

Keep your outdoor cushions fresh by cleaning them regularly. Remove dust, leaves and mud with a soft cloth. Dab liquid spills immediately with a dry, clean cloth to prevent them from soaking in.

Tip: Is your garden set placed under a tree? Check regularly for bird droppings and other dirt, and remove it straight away to avoid staining.

Step 2: Treat with Cleaner for textile & RuCore

All-weather Bouclé has a dirt-repellent coating that protects against stains and mould. Has the coating faded? Use our Cleaner for textile & RuCore.

Spray the cleaner onto the cushion and let it sit for 30 seconds. Dampen a sponge or soft scouring pad and gently rub the surface in circular motions. Repeat on stubborn stains until they disappear.

Step 3: Rinse and protect

Rinse the cushions thoroughly with water and let them dry completely in the open air. Once dry, apply a new protective layer using our Protector for textile & RuCore, so the cushions become dirt-, grease- and water-repellent again.

Important: Make sure your cushions are completely dry before covering or storing them to prevent mould.

Protect your cushions during winter or prolonged bad weather by covering them or storing them indoors. A protective cover helps – but storing them inside is the best way to extend their lifespan.
